Olive-PPT ODT Publications

Page Updated on 20 November 2011 Print PDF

The Olive-PPT ODT Programme was established by PPT following the closure of Olive on 31st August 2006 in order to continue certain aspects of the Olive legacy. The programme retains a dual focus on civil society organisations and NGO’s on the one hand and government and the public sector on the other. Important objectives include:

a) To utilise ODT interventions to facilitate improved development delivery, deepened democracy and sustainable development;

b) To facilitate closer and more functional working relationships and understanding between the public sector and civil society organisations.

One of the programme’s key objectives is to continue the assistance which Olive provided to NGOs to develop their own organizational capacity. Another key objective is to continue to manage the many publications which Olive donated to PPT upon its closure.

Publications and free downloads:

A wide range of publications are available from the Knowledge Resources section of this website and have been derived from many years of training and OD work by a range of skilled and experienced OD practitioners. Please refer to the information brochure for a detailed outline of the 31 publications currently available including the well known ‘Ideas for a Change’ and ‘Project Planning’ series. Also refer to the latest order form. Please note that there are some recent publications (i.e. Ideas for Change Part 13 and Facilitator Development Programme). Several publications have also been updated and reprinted since PPT took over the publications in late 2006.
